Bike Radar gives some good reviews of the Crane Sport brand so it's worth a punt for the winter riders.

Yep Crane sport are pretty good. I have a top which although it only cost about £6 is the most waterproof top i've ever owned and breathable too

I also bought some thermals which seemed good quality but I've not worn them much.

I bought the gloves last year, really good value, and comfy without piano player finger lengths!

Arrived at 10 and then realised it opened at 9.

Thankfully they had some stuff left although most of the clothing had gone ! Picked up some of the shoes in black and silver, very nice quality and with SPD fitments as well, got a cap and overshoes as well.

Staff said there were men with muscular legs queuing outside at 8:30 and the first half hour was a frenzy, no wonder most of the clothing had been sold.

Also picked up a Decathlon own brand Camelbak rucksack yesterday inc a 2L water sack and tube for £9.99.

The SEAT Altea went on Autotrader yesterday, can't really justify keeping it since its only doing 1/2 its usual mileage if anyones interested.

My good lady has capitalised on the sale and chosen herself a nearly new fully loaded turbo petrol SAAB 9-3 Sportwagon.

Bang goes my idea of saving some money by cycling to work, I seem to be the victim of my own success

They exist for motorbikes along with heated gloves, vests, jackets, trousers, socks and boots. I'm sure you could adapt something.

Was there anything left? I managed to get the last two winter tops in my size. They had plenty of everything else except there wasn't a single glove!?!

Legs felt a bit chilly on the way to work this morning, So I'm going back tonight for some thermal underwear.

Hmm!?! a heated motorbike saddle attached to my wisper!?!

Hey, thanks for posting this. Almost missed it but went down this morning to see if anything was left. Shepton Mallet still has lots of gloves, jackets, tops and waterproof trousers etc so still worth a spin by.

The stuff looks reasonable quality, only time will tell.

Mrs BB spent 40 quid in there and had a huge bag of cycling stuff that looks pretty tidy to me. The only thing I missed out were some of those overshoes

I finally managed to find some stuff, one store had gloves left and another had the winter jackets. I must be quicker next time.
