Agutta not assisting

My Raleigh (same as Agutta) is suddenly not assisting - all the lights are on and normal but there is just no electrical help at all. Can anyone suggest the obvious things to check before I take it back under warranty?

I beat pedelecs to it - when I turned it over it was obvious - the bolt holding the chain tensioner had backed right off - the nut has disappeared - and as a result the chain had come off the motor sprocket. I have cobbled together a repair but I do need to replace the nut - any idea as to thread anyone?
