Could anyone offer advice please. I want to buy my first electric bike. I have tried 3 the wisper 705, the raleigh Dover and the Lifecycle alpine sport. I feel it is probably worth waiting for the new German made wisper classic as I found the alpine sport too insensitve to either pedal or throttle ... it just shot off. I found the Raleigh Dover extremely comfortable but because of health problems I need more assistance . So I would like a bike with the Raleigh's sitting position ie cow horn handlebars and with as much assistance as possible but not quite as fulll on as the alpine sport. I would be grateful for any advice. Thanks

You can fit those pull-back bars to more or less any bike, which will transform it to a much more relaxed riding position. They cost between £15 and £20, which is nothing compared with the cost of the bike.

If you want a bike with good assistance, then it's the BH Emotion Neo series for a hub-motored bike, or the 36v crank-drives bikes with Panasonic, Kalkhoff Impulse or Bosch motors that are a little more expensive. Some people like the Tonaros that can also climb well but slowly. If you can wait, the new Kudos bikes with Bafang CST motors should be similar to the Neos in power, but cost less. Apart from the ones I've mentioned, most 250w hub-motors have about the same power and climbing ability. Maybe Ezee has abit more than average, so try one if you can.

I have had a Woosh Sundowner for about a month it's dutch type step through it's powerful and easy to ride.
I have a heart condition and I find it goes up hill and against head winds without any problems.
I hope this helps you.
