Hello, my name is Martin, a weekend enthusiast of bike trips and all kinds of DIY projects, I just bought an electric bike that required replacing the controller, after connecting everything, it turned out that throttle and PAS did not work, I checked the settings on the LCD display according to the instructions on the forum but still nothing works, the only way I managed to wake up the motor was by disconnecting the black cable from the throttle, then the motor turns all the time
Black wire on the right side,motor turns when pulled out
S866 LCD please help

Is the display a new unit supplied with the new controller ?

If original with branded f/w loaded it may not link correctly with a generic control box.

Something is very wrong with your throttle and or its connections, i suggest disconnecting all 3 connections and concentrate on pas input confirmation and instigating motor assistance to start with.

The fact the motor does run indicates no false brake sensor errors at least.

Unfortunately, you haven't shown the colours of the three wires connected to the throttle.
