add regen brakeing. without the regen

mad question here again.

bought an ebay 48v brushless gearless 1000w motor kit.

there doesnt appear to be a regen braking facility on the controller. id like some extra stopping power

not to botherd about the regen part (as the title suggest) but id like to know how easy it would be to add an e brake function to my controller?

Some controllers have the EABS function. You have to to join a pair of wires to enable it. If your controller doesn't have that function, you'd have to get a new one.

If you have a front disc brake mount, it might be cheaper to upgrade to a hydraulic disc brake, which should give you what you want.
