For some time now my front hub has been, intermittantly, making a rhythmic rubbing noise. Not all the time, often after a long climb, and it was getting worse. No loss of power, just noisy. Some time ago Cyclezee suggested stripping the gearbox out and repacking it with grease. Finally I got round to ordering some grease from him and I did the strip down yesterday.
The gear box looked fine, though I did spot a little bit of debris in the bottom of the motor casing. It was whilst cleaning up that I realised that the casing bearing was real gritty and lumpier than my home made custard.
It must have been gone 4pm when I 'phoned to ask if this was a replaceable part. Not easily, was the answer. He did say that he could send me a new casing to lace into the wheel. Great stuff, except I've never laced a wheel, I live in rural Wales and am going on holiday on Saturday (3 days hence). He said he thought he might have a complete 700c wheel and would check in the morning and let me know.
Half an hour later I had a call to say he had one and would despatch that evening. By 5:30 I had a text from Parcel Force to say it had been despatched.
The wheel arrived at 10:30 this morning, the motors been re-assembled, tyre and disc on, back on the bike and road tested.
Holiday saved.
Great Cyclezee service in a world where lots can't be arsed. This typifies the service I've had from Cyclezee since I bought my kit back in 2014. Big up to Cyclezee, thoroughly recommended.

Sounds like great service. A problem isn't a problem if it is resolved like that.

Compare that to my broken pannier rack that chain reaction cycled haven't managed to fix after 5 weeks...
