A new type of rear wheel bicycle hub

Has anyone seen this before ?

Despite what he says, there seems to be a lot of friction in his hub. There's no way he's going to gain 20 meters on any downhill. I would guess it uses a roller clutch, like our hub-motors, which are great as long as they don't go rusty.
