Here`s a Business opportunity for you Hatti . For the last few days we have had tales of woe from purchasers of high end Ebikes . What about offering them £50 part-ex for their Haibike , KTM , Bosch motor etc and let them Woosh away on one of yours ? You could give the bits back to the Purveyors of these machines to keep as spares for future disasters or even send them back to Germany and Austria to help the original Manufacturers out ?

there are certainly more out then in on this forum....Here is a "high end" road bike at $11000 + pedals extra....

I and many others don't see 2K as being to much for a quality E bike...Get a life?

Excellent idea RoadieRoger.
I could do a roaring trade Del boy style from a market stall in Peckham - not too far from Eddieo, perhaps.
He could then come and have a browse on a Sunday.

Eddie you`ve lived in London too long ? Down here £2000 would buy you a quarter of a house .

Brilliant idea Hatti, my daughter lives in Peckham, so that is the storage facility sorted, I have a couple of pasting tables for car booting, fancy going into partnership;)

I bagsy the SW Scotland franchise ... (though the original suggestion of £50 trade in for a broken bike with no chance of spares.... may under some circumstances be a bit steep) :p

Chorus:O ye'll tak' the high end, and Ah'll tak' the low
And Ah'll be in Scotlan' afore ye

Well, we seem to be gearing up to make this a nation wide operation. Any more franchisees interested?
BTW, have decided I will need a new company car if this all goes ahead. A Robin Reliant would definitely be my choice, but as we have to keep green and not pay London's congestion charges, should be fitted with a motor. Question is whose? Maybe we can inherit some posh bits from one of Eddieo's bikes?
And of course we' ill need the dab hand of Dave H to put it all together.
Next year looks like being very interesting......

do you think that is enough skips for all your motley collection of bikes as I very much doubt it.....

You will need one skip per Turdaro for a start!..They have weight limits you know....

On the other hand the last four cars I bought, covering a total of 25 years, cost less than this in total. Money proves nothing - reliability does ... as does fitness for purpose. J has raised more for our various charities than her e-bike cost ... Sorry, I'm rambling again! Nurse! I need cake and I need it now! :)
