A bafang bbs02 problem

I have a Bafang bbs02 showing error21.
i have checked sensor and magnet. Sensor shows red every time magnet passes.
The display shows km/h when wheel is turning.
I have disengaged the connection to brakes.
I don’t have PAS or throttle
is this a controller problem?

Error 21 is the speed sensor if the magnet led flashed .First check the plug unplug and reconnect in the past have seen water or cable damage or display /laptop settings changed for incorrect type

Check the magnet to sensor gap.
