Theres a business opportunity for someone, to make conversion plates that bolt to bosch,shimano etc frames and allow other motors like these to be retrofitted.

ebike motor centre is going to male a start later this year as still swamped atm problem is each frame geometry is different and if the chain line is not in the right place can cause massive wear issues and twisting the custom mounts.

so yes it can be done but it really depends on the bike as i have a cx motor on my bike but with out a 1.5mm spacer the chain line is screwed with out it as to far in other wise and those things are a pita to find.

bafang m620 mid drive motors and custom batts from jimmy looks good and i can fit one to my frame but no going back.

Someone put a custom made adaptor, on i think EMTB. I cannot be fannied trawling through every post for the last 6 months, but I'm sure theres links/pics somewhere on there.
I can't remember from which motor to which motor the adaptor was for.
