at 23 kg you will find it a tad heavy ... i would look for a lighter model ... the woosh zephyr, the kudos secret, fast4ward edge to name but three (although pricing may be an issue on the edge)

Lisa, apologies for brief reply but am in china at present,I think the Kudos Secret bike will be ideal for what you want,it weighs about 17kgs,is available 3 colours,20 inch wheels. The consignment is en ship to us,eta about 3 weeks. I think it's an attractive bike.
Here in the shows are a lot of very small bikes powered by magnetic drive, these bikes only weigh about 10. Kgs but they felt toylike,I am a big guy and I felt silly riding one,max weight 75 KGs is probably right,I thought they would make a good commuter bike like the Brompton nano but they are really toys in comparison.i have no doubt someone will bring them into the uk.

Hello there,

I have been looking at getting an electric bike and like the look of this
E20F01W | 20" Aluminium Electric Folding Bike | Intelligent LED dashboard,250W 8Fun motor, 36V Li-ion Battery with Panasonic cells,6 Speed SHIMANO Gear

I will be using this for pottering around town and also for when we go away camping.

Is this a good bike or are there any other folders equally good or better for around the same price

Lisa

Hello Lisa,

May I suggest you take a look at the Woosh Gale
It has pretty much all the characteristics that you want and at £545 including courier delivery - is a little cheaper than your first option.

Best regards

I had a thread running recently for a folder (still undecided) and this one sticks out as a reasonable bike, and nice looking.... especially now that they have dropped the price! showing as out of stock though....I mean its not much more then one of their kits and they seem popular

weight is 21kg I believe 23kg is the boxed weight, so about average....
