I'm wondering what the best possible kind of MIMH available is...so far I have found something 7kg 13ah 36v 600 cycles. its about 120+shipping+tax but hard to find in the UK.
that is more power than lithium ion. surely some bike shops should be getting them in?

according to the chart it can basically put out 13 amp for well over an hour.

There's rarely a problem with discharge characteristics on NiMh D or F cells.

The F cells used in this have been available for a long time, but the fact they are half as long again as D cells makes them difficult to fit in e-bike designs, and balancing that sort of weight on top of the carrier all the time isn't a good idea.

There is a 13.8 Ah Li-ion battery now, the one Wisper fit in their new 905se model, but we know nothing about it yet. Only time will tell how it performs and how long it lasts.

nice one, I was wondering what the F was. the shape is great for hanging in the triangle of the frame or on wheels because it's a really flat pack.
