50cycling Prices

Looking at 50 cycles prices on their website it would appear the that the new Torq Trekking has increased already by £50 since its recent launch a few weeks ago and is now the same price as a Forte or Forza:(

Then I get an email which via a link takes me to the following http://x.jngo1.net/w.z?72B527CDCF90457AA822C94C0126464A
which makes it look like a friend or familly member can buy a Forza or Forte for £100 less than the web price up until the end of January:confused:
No mention of the Torq in this offer:rolleyes:
Are they giving with one hand and taking away with the other?
Is this another stunt like the one they pulled with the Agattu, setting a deadline for a price rise, then extending it because?????? Because no reports had gone to print and the bike wasn't selling??????

In any field, prices and special offers usually relate to stock and supply. I'd guess that the F series are in stock in fair quantity, maybe not with some other models.

Not long ago it was the other way round, just the Torq having the special offer.

Well I got £50 off my Kalkhoff Agattu from 50cycles by entering in the code on their website, as well as the 10% off the list price they are currently selling for. This made the price including delivery £1145 (a bargain ;) ). And 50cycles (Tom) delivered on Christmas Eve, just a few days after I ordered it. I have nothing but praise for 50cycles and have found the whole process of buying the bike and using it very easy.

Added: 11.09pm today.

The code I entered into the website when buying my Agutta was the one emailed to me in 50cycles newsletter - I just assumed most people were on their mailing list. I'm sorry if I caused any confusion in my above post.

you was lucky then, a few days after you ordered, my money was taken from my bank account on the 21st december but never knew about this £50 off and told the next available delivery would be after they get back about the 2nd..so a couple of days after that....think i should enquire about my £59 off at least...never mind delivery...
This offer was open to recipients of our email newsletter sent out on 11th December. Anyone can join this email list by signing up here

FYI, business closed at midday on 21st December and the doors opened again today at 9am.

Tim i have sent you an apology in an e-mail and am doing so here publicly as thats probaly more important , you knew i was wrong but they didnt.....i stated i had definatly seen this discount offer on 50 cycles website, however what i had actually done was read someones posting on christmas day where they had put in a link to show where they had got the extra £50 off their new bike...so technically...i DID NOT SEE THIS ADVERT ON THEIR WEBSITE so was NOT ENTITLED TO EXPECT THE DISCOUNT...
this is for those who read my posting, for those who have not yet i shall see if i can delete it.
my apologies to 50 cycles once again.

Hi Keith. If you need to delete a posting, just go to it and click the Edit button at bottom right.

Then click Delete, and when the extension appears, first click Delete Message, then at the foot, click the Delete this Message button. The post will be removed and you'll be left at the start of the thread.
