Went to 50 cycles yesterday. Didnt know the area at all. Demo'ed some bikes though I just ended up cyling on the flat mostly.
But I have done a recce with my Fugawi mapping program and I have found a moderate hill. Its a 144 feet climb at 3miles. I know its not much but its their all the same.
Directions.
Come out of the 50cycles industrial estate and turn right. Then 180yards downthe road and then take a left. Then 200 yards over then railway bridge to the T junction. Take the right onto the A60 and keep going through Cotes and up the hill towards Hoton.
You could do that 3 times and clock up 432 feet and 9 miles.
Thats not a bad test run for a demo is it !
Theres some bigger hills SW, 3.5 miles away (Beacon Hill) which stands 773 feet in height. I have to lay a route down for that one though.
Hope this help anyone who visits 50 cycles in Loughborough for a demo like me !

Yes, Ian has posted about these hills before.

The trouble is that they aren't what many of us in the hillier parts of Britain call hills, and present no problems to 50cycles range of powerful bikes. Their Quando can climb most of them without any pedalling, so not to much of a test.

To try out e-bikes climbing, hills of 1 in 7 to 1 in 5 are needed, since most e-bikes can cope with 1 in 10 easily, many without any pedalling.

...:D... good point too! Though I'd be a bit nervous test riding a powerful electric bike with unfamiliar controls through traffic!
