Hi

Wonder if someone could please advise me on this ebay kit, I have 36v lipo4 10amp battery, if I added a 3 cell lipo would this battery combo run this 500w kit from ebay or would I need lipo cells in full I guess 14 or 15 cells.

It would be much better to use a ll lipo battery. A lot of expense is in the charger and monitoring, so the extra cost would from 3 to 15 cells is about £100. A 48v controller can just about manage 16S, which means 8 of these:

A 500W BPM kit from BMSBattery is about the same price. At least it's a known quantity. At that power, don't get a front motor unless you have steel forks.
