Hello

I am not sure if my charger is working. The green light comes but there is no voltage across the terminals. I have checked the joints in the plug which are sound.

Sometimes if I wiggle it the reg light flashes on but only for a moment.

How do I further test the charger?

Regards

What bike is it for? What connector does it have?

Yes sorry. its an e-Wayfarer with a 3 pin plug, but the center one is not used. The battery pack seems to be used in other applications so I assume the charger is fairly generic.

Quite often the wires break off the connector pins in that type. Unscrew the connector on the charger to have a look.

I looked at the plug end and that was OK. The model is SSLC084V42X

There is not obvious way of opening the box so I guess there are screws under the rubber feet.?

That's where they normally are. There's often a pcb mounted fuse that can blow, but once blown would be off. If you had it come back to life for a bit, it's more likely a connection fault.

The other possibility is the battery. You should measure the voltage in the charger socket. If too low, you hsve a problem in the battery.
