2012 Scott aspect battery

Hello everyone I have a 2012 Scott aspect with what I think is 1st gen motor or mechtronic or something similar, I would like a spare or larger battery as they were only made with a 275wh or thereabouts battery. Do these early bikes still require a Bosch only battery or can you use a different aftermarket brand? All help appreciated.

Have a look here. You need to check yourself, but I suspect these third party batteries work with the original Bosch motors:
