I'm looking for a bike with 20" wheels, as light as possible and with a range around 50 miles. A tall order I know but my friend is barely five feet and around 7stone. She already has a Moulton TRS with an ARCC epod conversion. It may be she would consider a slightly smaller wheel size. Does such a beast exist? If so I would be grateful for any suggestions.

You can convert a Brompton with my front hub kit and 36v 15ah bag battery. It's not 20"wheels but it's lightweight. Alternatively, my woosh Rambletta with 12ah battery gives about 40 miles from a full charge. The Rambletta has 20" wheels

as light as possible
Well a Brompton C line urban is around 11.2Kg and if you want 'as light as possible' then there is a large range of parts you can swap out to get the weight down to circa 8Kg, at a cost of course.

Then add an electric conversion kit.

A Brompton kit with 15ah weighs about 4kgs, so it still is easy to take into trains and underground. I ride one myself.

Many thanks guys.....a folding option is not necessary in this case. Good of you to reply...I'm obliged.
Price is not really an issue here if the bike is suitable.

What does she not like about the Moulton?

If you're not worried about money, a Gocycle G4i+ will be difficult to beat.

At the moment it is out of commision after two years unused.....but really I'm unsure as it is relatively light and moreover I really loved mine when I was able to ride it.

she is small. How about converting a small bike like the Specialized Hotrock with a TSDZ2 kit and a bag battery?
