I'm looking for a decent bms for my battery pack, its a Turnigy multistar 16,000mah 13s li-po battery pack.

I'm bored of charging it at 5a split into 2x4s and 1x5s packs as it takes about 10 hours !!!

So i've found this and wondered where to buy this ? or is there anything better anyone can recommend ?

Also looking for a bulk charger or power supply that puts out 54.6v at 10-20 amps (ideally a 15 amp charger)

Thanks

Have you looked on the nice new BMS Battery site, type BMS in to search box and various options appear.

Their aluminium case chargers are adjustable, so you can make the voltage whatever you want.

I was just wondering if you could adjust them! I guess its a PCB mounted trimmer pot type adjustment ?, I work in a cafe in Lyme Regis and we have no customers this morning !! So I'm web surfing instead :)

There's a trimmer pot inside in the corner. When you order, you can tell them what voltage you want, so they'll do it all for you.

Please let us know how you get on, I would be interested in having a go at this idea in the future.
My problem, I will have a 4s and a 6s I found I could not parallel charge so ended up getting a second charger to do them them both at the same time.
I haven't actually got into using them yet though.

d8veh, do you know if the BMS chargers with active PFC also have a trim pot? I'd like to charge my 10S pack to 41V here in the office and am debating between the standard alloy charger and the shiny active PFC ones. Also would you know whether either the basic alloy or the active BMS versions have fans (I'm looking at the 120W or 180W versions and I'd need them to be silent).

Thanks!

Michael
