Hi Everyone,
Here i be again still having problems with my euro bike. i have put new brushes in greased motor gearbox, new throttle. and still only struggle to get 10mph out of it. batterys test ok. am thinking perhaps its the control panel in battery box now. has anyone else had similar problems please. also where would i source a control panel. many thanks for looking.

There are quite a few places for spares, either your powabyke dealer or on the internet.
I have used bikesandbatterys.co.uk run by Berni and he carries a wide range of spares at fair prices he is also knowledgable on how they work and what to check.

No connection apart from a satisfied customer.

I consider my Powabyke Euro to be in decent condition, altough the batteries are weakening a little. I have owned it for several years.

However on pure throttle only, along the flat, no wind etc, with no pedal assist it won't do any more than 10mph. I have always considered this to be OK as with a little help it'll trundle along happily at 14 to 15mph. Am I wrong in considering its performance up to scratch? What should it do?

Weight of rider can make some difference,it can also be difficult to find a flat road long enough to obtain a true reading of your flat speed, also different road surfaces can make a difference for example gravel or the canal towpath would slow you down a little, overall if you can achieve close to 15mph with gentle pedaling on the flat it sounds about right.

With new batteries my Powabyke Euro always hit 15mph on the flat, now the batteries are a bit shot at it has dropped to 10-12 mph
