thanks for the reply, the bike came with a spare odd battery and charger , pale grey ni cad battery and black yamaha 5AS1 charger, the battery pack on the bike is dark grey/black , is it nicad or nimh ? how much roughly for a recell?

hi, I have just bought a Yamaha easy, It had been stored for a long time , very dirty and unloved but after a clean up and a charge it works! . I doubt the battery is much good ,still gives assist though. I will have to do something about the battery lock, no replacements are availible but...
