Please do. I'm still quite angry about the two "specialist" shops I took my bike to who didn't know this could be an issue. One wanted me to spend £300 in parts and the other tried to say I had a bad connector which they actually damages! Very best of luck.

UPDATE. I fully charged the "bad" battery and got 41.7 v which is exactly the same as the "good" battery. I'm going to check the contacts as the "bad" battery appears to have a wider gap than the good one. I'll keep you posted.

I'm not sure I have the skill set to do that. Any other suggestions?

Hi, I've finally tested the "bad" battery. I'm getting 40.7 v across the two outer pins. Nothing on the two middle pins but I believe they are the canbus system. 40.7 seems plenty. The good battery was 42v. Please let me know what you think. This thread has been enormously helpful so far.

I have the software but I'm not sure how to send it. It won't allow an .exe file to be sent. If you can work this out you can have it. You will need an old version of Adobe Acrobat to make it work. I believe the user name is dealer and the password is dealerpasword. I hope this is ok to post.
