Going back to the original thread. I took my bike back to Halfords who said the battery had gone into hibernation mode and couldnt be reset out if it! So they have given me a new battery as it was only 18 months old and under warranty. Dont hold out too much hope of keeping this bike for 10...

Just had exactly the same issue with mine. Just took the battery out to charge it. When it was full showing the green light, I put back in. LCD wont turn on, yet the battery light is fine. Tried all the solutions above with no luck, so will try for a new warranty battery as the bike is only 15...
