    Wisper 806

We have owned one of these for a year. It’s been so reliable, no warranty issues, lots of unmade roads near us but, it travels over them with ease. I can load this into the boot of our car for holidays, it’s 21 kg . I’ve looked at others but, after a year of heavy use. I’d buy this again.

    Alternative to suspension forks?

Thank you for your reply. I will definitely tell her to try this. She added a swept back handlebar which really eased the painful gripping problem. I’ll let you know how she went on

    Alternative to suspension forks?

I’m looking for my elderly neighbour who has arthritis in her wrists. She struggles with the rough road vibration. She doesn’t want it to be heavier. I lift it in and out of the car for her when it goes for service or, she meets family. She just needs something to take out vibration. I told her...

    Alternative to suspension forks?

Rather than have the weight of suspension forks added to an electric bike. Is there some kind of elastomer bung or something similar to a suspension seat post that’s light and takes the sting out of bumps please?

Wisper Anyone own a Wisper 705 24” wheel bike?

I really like the look of this. It says 14” frame. I have always struggled to find a bike I can get on and off with ease. I guess that’s why I use my folding bike a lot. My other bikes have been small (15”) and small compact. I go and try to get on them but end up with little clearance and, Feel...

    Wisper Battery rattle

Hi everyone, After hours of riding along trying to spot where the rattle is coming from. We’ve found it and, cured it The tray that the battery sits on is plastic. That paired with a metal rack isn’t a good idea. i did a temporary try to fix today, two sheets of paper towel folded into thirds...

Wisper I was wrong Wisper 806 is amazing

Many thanks for your fast response to the post. I will take a look at the clearance on the battery tomorrow and I have a couple of lengths of marine ply cut like rulers. These were used as spacers for shelving. Fingers crossed this will stop the rattle. I can’t stand anything other than the...

Thank you, I will take a look later I do love the folding bike however, I also love the Giant Stance E❤️❤️❤️ the £3.5k price tag scares me I’ve just added an adjustable stem to my old Marin MTB and it fits like a dream so, a good quality kit would be of interest to me. Thanks again for the...

Wisper I was wrong Wisper 806 is amazing

After todays ride I have a question. We cycle a sustrans route next to a river which is tarmac and unmade road. So nothing difficult, my MTB is absolute overkill for the route but, it’s old and I love the bike. Today as we cycled along the unmade road part, we could hear the battery rattling in...

Wisper I was wrong Wisper 806 is amazing

When my husband bought the bike the first thing that I noticed was, how beautifully made it was. From the satin paint ( he chose red, I’d choose satin black) to a good non rattle build. It stands in the corner of the lounge and , like a pet, it gets taken out daily I’m aiming to have another...

I’ll take a look at conversion kits in threads later, I have seen a few advertised but, knowing so little about electric bike kits, I’ll have to have a good read of things that forum experts have written. Thanks for your reply

Wisper I was wrong Wisper 806 is amazing

Hi everyone, I’ve been blown away by my husband’s new Wisper 806 today. So, three weeks ago he bought an electric bike. Since then we’ve done miles, me on a standard MTB, him on the Wisper. I’ve had a go on it a handful of times, zooming along a cycling track, loving the throttle and instant...
