The lad didn't install a pedal sensor. They all have the same motor connectors, it's the battery connectors that are different. Have you any recommendations on which controller to purchase? Maybe a link to point me in the right direction. It would be highly appreciated.

Thank you. So any controller will work as long as its the same 48v and 1000w? Doesn't matter about the amps? I assume as long as more then the battery amps. Then just replace the battery connectors to match those from my battery.
