Yes, it was the foam pads sticking to the battery pack they put in the top of the case, was REALLY stuck in there! Thanks for your help.

There were 2 tabs 1 either side in the middle of the case, it became much looser but something was still holding on but it must have just been stuck because with brute force it came apart!

Oh I see, apologies I thought you meant the outside of the case, well, I can try and find something thin and wide to fit in, maybe a wallpaper scraper I would like to try and not damage the plastic too much if I can help it. I'll have a look either later or tomorrow to see if I can "find" any...
