Thanks for the tips on putting in additional bearings that I have now done. Any suggestions on sealing the outer edge of the plastic gear case.? There is a nice rubber vee seal on the inner circumference but currently water can get into the outer edge. Anything better than careful application...

Thank you, I am not so confident tinkering with the electric side, very happy with the mechanicals, so would be looking for a battery that gave the best value for money with reliability too. Moon on a stick ??

I am open to suggestions for makes and/or on line suppliers for a battery as above. There seems to be a big range in price for same spec products, so I am interested in real life experience of the cheaper options ! Is it worth the extra cost of Panasonic cells, etc, etc...and any other points...
