Tsdz Vlcd5 Inline hidden wire brake sensor

Just seen this - don't know if it actually works: Amazon - Brake Sensor for For TSDZ Mid Drive Motor VLCD5 Display Throttle Version Useful if you have drop bar brake/shift levers - put this between the brake levers and the brake calipers. NB Appears to be for 8-pin version of Tsdz2

    Home made pedelec

Why not try a piece of card clipped to the spokes with a clothes peg? You could then cable-tie a decibel meter/alarm and set it to go off at the appropriate speed's noise level.

I may never bother to pedal again ;-)

Heard of this: Wiki - Nordic Walking ...using your locked arms to help propel using sticks - you can get a longer stride - saves yer legs - and get cardio effect. These ones collapse into Z's and are available in two lengths (I've a pair of each - one for 6' tall me and one for 5'6" tall...

UK Parliament - Bicycles and Electric Scooters: Pedestrian Areas If an e-bicycle (EPAC) isn't a mechanically propelled vehicle then a pedal-cycle isn't either. Tell the deaded animal's owner that it is their responsibility to report it to the local authority for correct disposal.

UK Dog Licences were ridded in 1988 - are you sure this is true? (Reporting to police any involvement of licensed animals.). The thing to do with loose dogs is to carry a spare ball - then toss it so doggie chases it. Remind owner to use dog-leash in public place as they curse.

I may never bother to pedal again ;-)

You could change the rear brake to a disc-affair: You'd need: A replacement disk wheel Frame disk adaptor Cable-operated disc brake and rotor You could add the suspension seat post (already suggested) You could also get a new disk-compatible air-shock front fork. This'd keep your original...

TONIGHT 9pm: - E-Bikes: The Battle for Our Streets - Panorama

Cats like patterns... Pick the the thing up, drop a treat for it, and then put it down. It'll then tolerate being picked up because it remembers the happy finish. --- Top-loading carriers are best - pick the thing up, drop a treat into the carrier then put the cat in it - it'll be fixated on...

Bright Headlight for Winter - Recommendations?

Have you seen these handlebar extensions? You can get gear shifters with the levers underneath the handlebar, rather than on top. You'd be able to "stack" them under the brake levers. If Tourney is an MTB derailleur then any MTB gear shifter should work (they have same "pull").

    Spoke key

Your one looks quite useful - especially for Chinese-built hub-motored wheels with heavy-gauge spokes: 5 IN 1 SPOKEY SPOKE BIKE TOOL ADJUSTER 13 GAUGE 14G, 15G NIPPLES + 2 SCREWDRIVER

    Spoke key

I use a Spokey 3.25mm... Spa Cycles - Spokey 3.25/3.40 the circular hole is really useful for orientation (quarter-turn hole left, half-turn hole right, etc) You'll need to fathom which size to buy - depending on your existing spoke nipples.

Not really sure anyone is really trying to help you so far Have you tried using lower tyre pressures? Might help float through the sand. Tubeless tyres might be the answer.

    Disc Sizes

    There is a bullsh!t-baffles-brains thing going on here. My notes: Single-pistoned disc-brakes: 1. AVID BB7s are single-pistoned cable-disc-brakes (SJS GBP69.99) Cable Double-pistoned disc-brakes: 2. TRP Spyre are double-pistoned cable-disc-brakes for road bikes (short-pull brake levers)...

    Argos £245 folding Bike Improvements

An ill-tempered response - excused - perhaps - by your recent hospital visit. What sort of headset/handlepost does your Argos folder have? Is it threaded - like a Dahon, or A-headset style like my Dawes? If an A-headset style then upgrading it with a standard-steerered 100mm fork would be...

    Argos £245 folding Bike Improvements

Are you absolutely convinced that a front suspension fork is really required on a folder? Surely fitting a 50mm wide tyre - such as Swallow Big Apple or Swallow Big Ben - and perhaps running tubeless - would provide necessary shock absorption? Also - a carbon fork would remove some of the...

    Argos £245 folding Bike Improvements

DAWES Jack. Note that this bicycle uses mostly standard bicycle parts - such as an A-Headset fork-steerer-tube and the handle-post uses an A-Headset clamp. (Unlike Dahon threaded fork-steerer.) The supplied chromoly fork had 74mm spacing. I bought an A-Headset carbon fork with 100mm spacing on...

    Argos £245 folding Bike Improvements

I hand-built some wheels for my folder by fitting a carbon fork with 100 mm spacing and using MTB hubs along with wide rims and appropriate spokes (Halo BMX); I went 32 spokes on the front and 36 on the rear. This was to fit 10-speed instead of 7-speed and also use disk brakes. SJS - 20 inch...
