Completed a decent ride this morning and all good. Phew, I didn't want to be hit for a new motor. Fingers crossed for later on down the road! I hope Bosch are providing all motor parts (like Brose do) by the time it breaks.

Checked the button batteries, both read 3.3v. Must have been a spurious error message.

There are many riders posting online that they have had Bosch motor failures at very low mileages, mainly Gen4, mine at only 800 miles! Some had sensors knocked out by simple crank strikes, leaning the bike against a lamp post or water ingress. Bosch do not release any motor or battery...
