    Nealh Thanks for the reply, the controller is marked as PDQ-0031C. I have spoken to Steve at 4QD, who suggested dropping the controller output voltage using zener diode / resistor pair

    I have measured between red and black reading jumps from -180 mV to + 180mV white and red reading also jumps on mV scale black and white = -9V DC constant The square block is just a cover for the connector I will have a look at the suggestions Thanks Nick

    Thanks for the reply, I stripped the old throttle cable when I was checking the output voltage. Photo of the connector is below. I have also attached a photo of the controller and new throttle.
