I have posted a thread about my Shimano gear hub gear selector reassembly. However 50 cycles near me don't support 'repair/service any more. Is there a Shimano knowledgable 'dealer or engineer?

I have a Kalkhoff Proconnect with a shimano 8 speed gear hub. I have taken off the rear wheel but inadvertently the gear selector 'wheel came off and I can't get it to go back.

Absolutely right! Although they weren't loose I tightened them really hard and the noise went! Many thanks for your suggestion.

If I push the pedals down hard when cycling there is a creaking/groaning noise from where the shaft enters the motor unit. I checked that it wasn't that the pedals were well tight, but the noise persisits and is getting slowly worse - noticeably when going up hill. The chain wheel can be moved...
