Managed to lace the hub using the following video. It helped a lot and im useless at this sort of thing. i could not get the wheel round so started again and used the following video. It made it so easy to true and round the wheel.

Yes that makes sense. The one I replaced was a king meter one with a little led light on it. Only activated going forward. I will do the setting as you said.

I have filled out the wheelpro calculator using the correct picture this time. Can anyone confirm that is correct please? I have also filled out the grin calculator, is that correct? I know i am making a mistake somewhere because i get two different spoke sizes from both websites?

I really appreciate that. What a mistake i have made, the hub i have is a rear hub but i posted the picture i found on the net and did not realise it was a front hub. The correct picture is now attached.

Sorry I got confused about the spokes. The elbow on the Sapir strong is 2.3mm but the rest is 2.0mm. The hub motor I have is a Bafang. What size are the flange holes? If I did go for 14g spokes would I need flange washers? Only reason for 14g is I can get DT Swiss spokes for about 30p each.
