    Thanks for all of your help on this ,you have helped a lot. Finally got to the bottom of the noise , I striped the motor again and found that the 2 centre bearing had gone ,they were noisy and rough. Got all 4 bearings form simplybearings near me at a cost of £36 the lot .motor now ok.

    Front crank for a whoosh big bear.

    Just baught used whoosh big bear , I want to increase the size of the front crank on the bike to keep in contact with the gears to stop spinning out. Has anyone done this ?can anyone recommend a suitable crank ? I was thinking of increasing to 48teeth will this be ok. Also been looking at a...

    Removed the front wheel , and dismantled the motor. All looks well inside of the motor, no teeth missing, no evidence of scouering or rubbing marks. I am going to order a set of 3 gears then I no it's good. Just done about 20 miles on the bike and the noise hasn't gone any worse.
