It's what made me seriously look into getting an electric bike. Well, it's something I'd considered on and off for a while but the ad really caught me but I wasn't 100% convinced it was right for me. Did some research and found this site, so I asked questions and have a little bit more knowledge...

Have spoken to Steven at Fosse Electric bikes and am hopefully going to pop over, just trying to arrange a lift :-)

Now that sounds like a lot of hassle haha. Not really, sounds like it could be an idea, ask him to get in touch and do all the hard work for me ;-) Point him in my direction if you can, happy to discuss all options and obviously want to get the most of my ( mums ) money.

Thanks, I thought so too but needed someone who knows what's what to give their opinion. My only issue is that the frame might be too big for me as I'm a dwarf :-)

I like the Kudos Tornado, just watched a short video of it in action and liked it. Leaning towards that or the Carrera I think. :-)

Yep, have got it shortlisted.

Yep that's one of my shortlisted ones, mainly because I have a Crossfire already, and Halfords is fairly local, however I am easily swayed by people that have more knowledge than me :-)

Thanks, but it is pretty far from me and I don't drive, hence the need for a bike. just checked, it's a 4 hour round trip and 4 bus changes so definitely not an option but thanks anyway.

Hi, of course you're absolutely right, I would like to try before I decide but I don't think it's going to be an option. I am going to call Halfords about a test ride but as far as I know there is 1 other bike shop sort of near where I live but it's still 2 bus rides away, not a million miles...
