Yes, the spider paws are a bit wider, so the shorter chainring nuts doesn't reach through the spider. But the original bolts and nuts will work with a Race Face N/W chainring. Place the chainring so the big RACEFACE print doesn't show and thighten bolts. My local dealer says they've done this...
