The crap Impulse Motor started clicking at 3,000 miles and died at 4,000 miles. Also bought from 50cycles. Emailed Kalfoff they don't care, the motors are fine with no problems. They suggested I could get the motor replaced (at my expense) but what is the point if the replacement will be also...

Sorry but I have not been well. Thanks for all the replays Battery was bought in Mar 2016 so not very old. Checked the wires to the motor and controller and they look ok. The fuse holder in the battery is distorted and bend (clearly got hot) and hove order a new one from ebay. Rang 50...

It not the furze as I get a good 27.2 volts between the + and the Negative terminals. The battery + terminal & + bike post are not in good condition. Have replaced the bike terminals with a new one & closed the gap in the battery + terminal. Still the same problem.

The battery still has most of its charge. It just stopped working mid way through a ride. There is no display. Pushing the button on the battery all the led flash quiet quickly. Remove the battery from the bike and the normal battery measurement is displayed on the led's (all but one lit)...

went to work on it today, what a improvement in performance, with a nice back lit Speedo.

Thanks, I had to assemble the bike tonight so I used a voltmeter to work out the connections. The display came without the plug so you could feed it through the frame. I had to drill out wider one hole to get the speedometer pug down the tube. Will test it tomorrow.

Just go a new motor 300w 26v 170111228 & led display bj 2013 they came with no instructions or wiring diagram (you have to wire a plug) does any one know on the net where I can find them? Neil

I already have a less than one year old replacement 26v battery. They do a 300w 26 motor would it fit?

No it is the original Pro Connect crank powered motor. The chain tensioner got damaged and the motor unit was replaced with the MK 2 version. sadly its long past the guarantee.

It is a 26v mk motor unit. The motor has done many miles but it has new wheels ect. so it is worth getting back working.

My pro connect has just died. While going down hill at 5mph not peddling the power just stooped and would not switch on again. No led showing. It is not the battery (it works fine on my other bike) and is not the connector (it is in good nick). Any ideas Neil
