Thank you flecc, as I thought, but you put it in a nutshell. Seems like they are using the fact that as it is not 'classified' yet, then it is ok. Really maskes me annoyed that they can flout regulations and not be truthful to unsuspecting buyers.

With the nuvinci it is so intuitive to ride, just a tweek and you hit the sweet spot and you feel the power. It feels solid and very positive. Only downside is that at 29kg if the battery dies, which it has once because I forgot to charge it, it is hard to pedal. Won't make that mistake again :)...
