    ICEdot crash sensors

Yes, I think you're quite right there. I glance my lid on branches quite often too and can easily imagine clipping the little thing off. My new lid has a specific gopro/light mount so I'll be playing around with that soon. Must remember not to go anywhere too low on the branches front. It's...

    ICEdot crash sensors

Thanks you very much. That was pretty much my concern. Stability of the software being the main issue, then battery. Out of interest, was it IOS or Android you were using it with? Perhaps they are still not quite there with this sort of tech at that sort of money yet. Still cool idea. I'll take...

    Bike Locks....

    Help. Bike Stolen

It might not have actually helped in this situation, but I've just seen this new spin on making locks less attractive for thieves to attack with tools.. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/skunklock-the-only-bike-lock-that-fights-back-bicycle#/ Different thinking. Sent from here to there with...

    ICEdot crash sensors

So what do you reckon to the crash sensor product? I thought of you when I saw them. Seeing how 'out in the wilds' you get on your rides, and in the dark. Places where another human may not pass for weeks or months. No wonder you carry that kit. Very sensible move :) Sent from here to there...

    ICEdot crash sensors

I recently bought a new helmet that came with an ICEdot code, where anyone can text the code printed on the back of the lid to a number printed beneath, and receive the 'in case of emergency' details of the wearer. Seems like a good idea should the worst happen. Then I noticed a product that can...

Haha, not sure, probably about 25-30 on the faster downhill bits. On the camera it looks like I hit warp speed moments before I met the tree, I think the wide angle cameras make it looker quicker than it actually is. Glad I managed to scrub off speed as much as I did before impact with the tree...

yeh, stupidly my gloves were in my pocket. Wish they'd been on top of my phone! Those bars have been cut down twice, perhaps too much the second time, but they are ideal for through there with the tight tree gaps. Sent from here to there with computer wizardry.

A little blast in the local woods today and it seems just my phone came off worse for wear :( Hopefully helicopter tape will hold it together until I get a replacement. Anyway, the incident in about half way through the clip when this tree got in the way. ;)

Delete this too in due course if you can please! I just wanted to say I share your love of a motul 2 stroke mix in the air. I also had tzr250s an rgv 250 and a kr1s. Thems the days, cheap thrills! Your bikes look far cleaner than mine were! Great to see them and a snap of brands, love the little...

I know that strava link route pretty well. Pleased you liked my 'back garden' as much as I do, it sure is a pretty wee place; best left as unacknowledged as possible ;) I should be able to dig my torch out and head up for an evening spin soon, I really can't remember how good or bad it is. Keep...

I like your trail finding tips. Use nature! :) What's amazing, is that it is in fact three cornered copse! I guess I did describe it, and you know I'm hove way, but quite how you can recognise such a tiny, often missed little area of woods is quite remarkable! Go to the top of the woodland...

Can't say I recognise where you are from the videos :P I preferred the second light from the video, although the first appeared brighter but very central and directed. It could be the camera didn't do it justice? Can't you run both together? Some parts you seem to lose the trail and are just...

Oh, and this whopper of a root/stump. Not one to hit at pace, which is likely if you're not aware it's there. Arrgghh! :/

More often than not, I get bored of riding the same trails. The exception to the rule is my little local woods/copse. It's only five minutes ride from my house, so easy to pop up to for an hours playtime without any prep. :) I forget how much good and varied terrain exists in this little half...
