Thanks for the reply. I am on holiday at the moment & my wife seems to be getting on ok with it so far so maybe we will leave it for now. Out of interest what happens if I simply disconnect the pedal assist sensor?

I have recently bought an electric trike for my wife who has a disability and sometimes can’t pedal for long periods so want to fit a twist throttle. The trike has a Bafang C961 display & the controller is built into the battery holder. Has anyone found a way to do this? I have two problems...
