    Cube acid one 500

So I took the bike over to the shop, as you might expect it didn't clunk no matter how hard I tried ;) My backlash is no better or worse than another new cube/bosh in the showroom, Anywho I left the bike with them for a day just too have a look see. 24 hrs later a few nuts tightened, fittings...

    Cube acid one 500

Well I've done 203 happy miles, but now the bike has a clunk when riding bumpy trails and there's backlash going from freewheeling to drive with an audible clunk that wasn't there when I first got the bike :( I'll be visiting the shop tomorrow (Monday)

Kalkhoff impulse vs bosch active line plus

Forget the 3 year old comparison, the Bosch motor in question is an older active 1st generation, E bike technology is moving on real fast these days, Bosch are now on there 3rd generation motor, still called active line & active line plus but totaly different animals.

Just Got A Cube Acid Hybrid

Hi Shurm, good choice  I have the same, but in green because I'm 56 and not sensible (when you get to our age you can get what you want, not worry what others may think) ;) I picked nine up at the beginning of the month and with today's planed ride I should pass the 200 mile marker :)

    Cube acid one 500

Humm it's been over 7 months since my last ride on my 2014 active line cube. Put me on the spot and I'd struggle to tell the difference in power, neither motor left me wanting more, however the new motor just feals nicer to ride.

time for a change, what's it worth

I sure did buy one and I don't regret it one bit:cool: It arrived just a few weeks ago, I've covered 130 miles so far and loving it :) Easy to ride motor off and with the motor on there's a smooth transition comming off power at cut off speed (without the internal drag of the CX motor )...

    £1700... Full eMBT, which one?

"Bad back" me too, I have two bulging discs so know first hand the benefits of a NCX seat-post. Get yourself comfortable and 35 miles will seem like a good warm up ;)

    £1700... Full eMBT, which one?

Full sus is overkill for what you want it for. I'd say the only upgrade you need is a NCX seat-post:cool: I have two and wouldn't ride a bike without one ;)

    Cube acid one 500

New this weekend my Cube acid one 500 from Rutland cycles (Pitsford) the first thing you notice is how green it is in the flesh, in your face GREEN but that's cool as its not a dull bike. Despite the 6 month wait ( cubes fault not the shop) and my personal situation, I'm very pleased with the...

Bad Kama, or just a run of sh!+ luck

Thanks for the kind words folks, He went through a bad time when he lost his wife ( my mother ) 22 years ago, I moved in with him back then to help him through it and since then we have been best mates, sharing life's ups and downs together, quite a void in my life now.

Bad Kama, or just a run of sh!+ luck

This is not a dig at any store, just me cursing fate. Sold my e-cube last December as I'd ordered the new Cube acid one 500, expected delivery in January. A run of bad weather, car trouble and ill health ( both myself and my father, 82 years ) meant I wasn't too fussed when the manufactures...

    26" wheel in a 27.5" frame

And why not, after all the concept of running a larger front wheel is not a new one & it makes even more sense with a powered rear wheel. The home built 69er (26" rear & 29" front) has been around for years and Trek even built one ! I've always liked the idea, kinda reminds me of my old trials...
