ah, that wouldn't be any good for my bike then... I need to turn my mtb into an ebike at some point. I'm going to try and go to Dorking for the Prudential Ride London event later this month. To watch obviously :)

Also, talking of money, I bought the Nuvinci for £75.

Pic of next forks. Obviously, they need a new paint job..... But they will be lighter and less momentum will be lost from diving. My current ebike frame is a 1952 schwinn Panther. So, it's not a mountain bike etc.

Carbon arms just to try and save some weight for as cheap as possible. Forks will be 1930 schwinn forks instead of springer forks.

Ok, so the weight difference is more than I thought...

At the moment my bike is running a Nexus inter 7. It's an ok hub, but I feel the range is limited and the gear change loses cadence/efficiency. The Nuvinci will give me a better range and shifting that is smooth and able to shift under load. Having held both hubs I feel the weight different...
