Trying to get Travel insurance for a Cancer sufferer

Unless you're unfortunate like me, and accident prone, it does seem to make a lot of sense, to take out the basic legal insurance you need on everything, like property bricks and mortar/flood damage, third party on car...and for accidents and anything else, just set aside a monthly amount equal...

Trying to get Travel insurance for a Cancer sufferer

Very wise advice flecc, you're a wise old owl! I think the insurance industry is a massive racket, they're absolutely terrible most when it comes to paying out, finding any excuses and going to ridiculous lengths to avoid paying out legitimate claims in many cases, you're treated automatically...

    My new 31 year old "e-bike" !

Indeed! I like your idea on the brakes, that sounds like a good improvement! Re price point and odd design choices...that's the crazy thing with Sinclair I never understood (as an entrenepreneur myself)..he always always marketed his products around price..everything revolved around...

I suppose from an insurance company prospective it is a very high risk in some cases.. but really, it's terrible them quoting £3,000 a week. There must be some non-profit charity org surely, that can help people in this situation. If there isn't, there should be!

I will ask my mother Phil as she travels quite a bit and has cancer in remission... I'll get back to you in a sec.. I think she's gone to bed.. but you could try the MacMillan site lots of helpful folks there? Surely someone has faced this dilemna before. Or maybe as a last resort, try to find...

Trying to get Travel insurance for a Cancer sufferer

Insurance companies can be terrible, some of the worst businesses and one of the most horrible industries for poor business ethics.. I took out a private healthcare and insurance policy before my knee problem was diagnosed...quite some time before...many months.. I had already been told my knee...

Trying to get Travel insurance for a Cancer sufferer

Awww :-( Sorry to hear that Phil. Have you tried Nationwide Building Society? This may sound a strange suggestion, as they're not automatically associated with insurance, however I'm with them and they give all customers holding a FlexDirect current account free travel insurance for a year...

Damn that's amazing, well done Helen! And I see you have already started linking keywords like 1000W to the legal guidance page. Tremendous work and so fast too! Big Kudos! :):) At least if there's any bad accidents or legal wrangles now concerning illegal electric motorbikes, it won't be...

Why do you think the UK retained the 14 minimum age limit, not fully ratifying the EU Directive on e-bikes with our own earlier legislation? Was that just a safety concern of UK government that below 14 was not safe to handle an e-bike, or was there some other reason behind it to do with...

Hypothetical question and reverse logic flecc... Let's say 12.5mph was the legal limit on e-bikes, because the EU suddenly announces it this year. Now all these kits and bikes are in the marketplace, that are capable of doing 15.5mph still. Do you think all e-bike owners would abide by the...
