I did have something like that, a waterpoof zip-up SatNav holder designed to mount on handlebar with a mounting bracket.. The zip broke on it though! I'll have to search on eBay and see if they still sell them.. it was about the right size to hold the HTC phones.

That's a good idea! Nearly everything has WiFi or BT these days and with BT USB dongles available so cheaply on eBay even a desktop PC can have BT support to speak to the speedict ;-)

Ahh I see. I guess some people may buy cheap dedicated android phones second hand off eBay or perhaps one of the cheap Chinese tablets to mount on bike.. I'm thinking about doing that myself rather than using my beloved HTC Desire phone..I've not had any luck finding a secure mounting solution...

Jack does the Speedict support WiFi as well as Bluetooth? I thought it was only BT? I noticed it has a USB port, which I assume is primarily for transferring data logs to PC but also updating firmware? Do you know whether data logs can be transferred via BT to a PC?
