I might be being a bit paranoid but I'm sure I've detected a new noise over and above the usual whisper quiet whirring motor sound. At first I thought lube the drive chain but that made no difference. Its more noticeable at lower speeds on assist 1 when power first kicks in and is a constant low...

+1 for the odo resetting itself...must be a quirk of the earlier models. Mind you, when it comes to selling on its only done a low mileage..;).

I think my next mod needs to be a bigger chainring as others have already done on here. It seems a 44t ring is recommended so would this be suitable from CRC or could someone provide a link for one please...

Some photos showing the new bar height and sweep. Gives the bike a more natural riding position imo...I like to sit upright and take in the scenery. Also shows cables not too stretched Recy and the bar moves to extremes ok.

I fitted an NC17 Trekking 318 bar with Ergon GC1 grips as I have the same combo on my Oxygen bike and like the rise and sweep and the GC1's are designed for swept back bars. No problems with the cabling after fitting as the bar brings the cables backwards slightly to offset the rise I think...

I've ordered a 27.2 to 30.9 shim so here's hoping it squeezes into the tube ok. I prefer a tight fit anyway...oo-er :rolleyes: I noticed on the original seatpost it has a very faint 30.4 stamp in the metal.
