    Brexit, for once some facts.

The Judges are functionaries. They were asked about an obscure point in the law. They consulted the law, past cases, historical fact going back centuries. After consideration, they rendered their verdict. To criticise them for doing their duty is ridiculous. It is bit like those people who...

    Does it charge whist pedaling

When they say, 'If you push it to its limits it can do 130kms' Do they mean that literally, i.e....get off and push?

Has anyone dealt with Race Co Cycles?

Their ebikes seem limited to Haibike, Cube and LaPierre. All of them sports models and looking very similar to each other.

Heathrow v Gatwick v Stansted airport expansion

Unless of course aircraft change and achieve vertical take off etc., Heathrow must surely be doomed for the future, because it is so hemmed in. What about when they want a fourth, fifth, six runway? An imaginative government would now plan a ten runway airport. No need to build it all in case as...

Heathrow v Gatwick v Stansted airport expansion

It used to be the same with railways, my aunt lived almost next door to the line, but never noticed the trains because she was so used to them. Similarly, Llandarcy Oil Refinery used to give off a fearful oily pong which drenched the area around. The locals could not smell it.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

They were fighting for Poland in the RAF. Honourable men, not mercenaries. You jumped to conclusions claiming that I wanted to malign the Poles.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

OldTom, For once, I totally agree with you. It was Allied air forces and the Poles were part of them. I was only quoting my Uncle who was there in the RAF at the time. Most of the Europeans that had escaped the German advance and that flew in the RAF were fighting the Germans, but not...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

More rubbish. The Poles did not fight for Britain, they fought for Poland. Lots of them also joined the Wermacht.

Is there a governing body to report a rogue e bike trader/retailer to ?

Perhaps part of the problem is modern cars. They perform so faultlessly, but are so complicated that only a specialist can unsort them. My experience with bikes is that they need constant adjustment and attention. I no longer need to blow my car tyres up, they get done at the annual mot. Modern...

    Will e-bikes get cheaper?

Obviously, a bike can be low specified or high specified regarding equipment, frame and saddle, Costs can vary alarmingly. But most of the cost seems to me to be related to weight which is not so crucial to ebikers. Electric motors are much the same until you consider German out put which tends...

I got my A2B Hybrid, and I'm hating it.

Seems to be horses for courses. if you are a cyclist looking for a little help, then Torque sensor. On the other hand, if you are likely to run out of puff and be unable to pedal then 'Cadence Sensor' (Is cadence sensor the wrong description? both my bikes have magnet rings which are strictly...

Can I de-limit my BH Neo Cross bike?

Earthdave, it is a well known fact that these pesky little spoke magnets keep falling off and lost. It is impossible to buy a replacement!

    Will e-bikes get cheaper?

Except Woosh Gale. I have ridden it many times on beaches, it looks a bit rusty but is still going strong. I did spray the battery terminals with GT 85 (marvellous stuff if you ask me, better then WD40)
