I have ridden a friends Pendleton (Non electric).
It was fine. Obviously styled and painted to appeal to women, it is a nice looking bike.
I tend to take a Dutch approach and consider a bike to be something like a pair of shoes. It enables me to go places.
The Pendleton has a saddle, handlebars...
Well to just blandly call it crap without any qualification of your opinion is what the complaint is all about.
1 If you have ridden it and found it unpleasant you should say so.
or,
2 If you feel that it is overpriced, just say so, this might be a crap deal but it could be that the bike itself...
When I think of this country and the legions of busybodies who think that they are entitled to interfere (Helmets etc.) and of course feel a warm glow of 'Do gooderishness'
I despair.

Apologies for the political nature of this demonstration in the USA, but I thought that members might be very interested to see just how many Seattle Police are using bikes and the way that they line them up to make a moving barricade.
I ride sit up and beg style on both my bikes.
I find this fine whereas with flat bars and leaning forward I used to get pain in the stomach and groin.

My experience with snapping spokes is that the problem first arose when I tried to ride off with the security chain in the back wheel.
After replacing about 10 spokes, I took it to a wheel builder who found that all the spokes had been inserted from one side only.
He rectified this and the wheel...
