What annoys me about some posts

I have ridden a friends Pendleton (Non electric). It was fine. Obviously styled and painted to appeal to women, it is a nice looking bike. I tend to take a Dutch approach and consider a bike to be something like a pair of shoes. It enables me to go places. The Pendleton has a saddle, handlebars...

What annoys me about some posts

Well to just blandly call it crap without any qualification of your opinion is what the complaint is all about. 1 If you have ridden it and found it unpleasant you should say so. or, 2 If you feel that it is overpriced, just say so, this might be a crap deal but it could be that the bike itself...

    Dutch view of cycling law

Use it or lose it.. an interesting read.

Sadly, at my age, so much of my stuff now 'will see me out.'

    Backache

I ride sit up and beg style on both my bikes. I find this fine whereas with flat bars and leaning forward I used to get pain in the stomach and groin. Opposite of d8veh!

Before you despair, try swapping the saddles.

    Snapping spokes on e tandem

My experience with snapping spokes is that the problem first arose when I tried to ride off with the security chain in the back wheel. After replacing about 10 spokes, I took it to a wheel builder who found that all the spokes had been inserted from one side only. He rectified this and the wheel...

    Inverter ( 12 v to 240) ?

First sneer. However I have a feeling you really don't know your inverters from your transformers from your switched mode power supplies.

Well I found the clip very interesting and was heartened by their sensible comments at the end.
