Really glad it arrived in once piece. With a shipping price that low you tend to have a bit of a worry. As I said before it is a strange feeling pedalling with not effort and the bike going along nicely, I think it will take a bit of getting used to.

Glad you found the key. The battery has a slot that runs down the track, it was quite tight but easy to slide. Maybe the rack is slightly off centre causing a twist. I would have thought it was a strong point.

Sorry there is so much packaging, but I didn't want damage. The key is 100% there. I was tempted to lock the battery but wasn't sure who long it would be in transit.

The key was in the lock. I left the battery slightly out in because of the charge situation, once it's in there is no on or off the key just locks the battery in place. So my fault. The key was in the lock and has a fob attached. Hopefully the pin will straighten.

Right. Now all packed up ready to go. The box has been shorted and lowered, so loads of tape. When you unpack it have a bin liner handy, aside from wrapping every bit in protective packing I have filled the gaps with "loose fill" a bin bag full. Just wanted to be sure. The light on the charger...

Good job you told me, the box is 1.9m. the bike is 1.75. I will take the front wheel off and shorten the box no problem. The front wheel is quick release. The handle bars one allen key, just the pedals needing a spanner.

Just to keep you informed. I picked up the box today, it massive. As luck would have it, it was for an electric bike, apparently they are shipped assembled. So I just need to remove the handle bars (1 bolt) and the pedals (I will label them because they have opposite threads) and sort out some...

As soon as I have a box I will let you know. I will wrap the bike up inside the box to protect it from damage.

I am often in London so can always get it to Paddington or even somewhere else for no cost to you.

Let me check with the wife. When we come down we could always stop at another station, we virtually go through Paignton. Or I of course could take it to Paddington if someone was travelling by train from London !!
