I had my Wisper 806T legally derestricted and it has been worth every penny. I am now able to set off much more safely and if needed I can have a break from pedalling. Also great for riding up hills. Wisper bikes come highly recommended - I love mine. It is also very quiet.

I have a Wisper 806 T and would like to change the tyres to Schwalbe Marathon Plus. Has anyone been able to access the 1.95 or 2.00 width? 1.75 seems fairly readily available but I have been told it is not good to go down a size. Also i believe you were waiting on a delivery of rack adapters...

Gosh I am impressed by your knowledge. This could complicate matters but maybe 0.5 mm extra might not effect grip too much except of course it is a harder tyre. I have been advised that going for a narrower tyre on an 806 would not be a good idea but marathon pluses are now sold as e bike ready...

Thank you. I was thinking more of the e plus which is specifically for e bikes. Also the 2.0 in. I am a totally newbie to all this but I was assuming that a wider tyre would be more stable and grippy thus minimising the possibility of falling off in a skid.

Thank you both. I have been looking at the new Schwalbe marathon plus for e bikes. I am trying to find out if they are available for 20” wheels. They sound ideal but expensive.

I would like to change my rear tyre on my 806T for a Schwalbe Marathon plus. There is a 1.75 or a 2.0. Which would be more appropriate? I also do not want to lose any stability so am not sure if this is the best Schwalbe tyre for me.

Apologies. I meant to ask if the extra weight made the bike harder to ride. I have bought the 700 W for my 806 T because I wanted it to last maybe as long as me! The bike came originally with the 375. The new battery is quite a bit heavier and I was unsure if this would effect the ride.

I have been pondering all this since the beginning of the pandemic! Always stressful to spend so much money on myself especially since accident meant retirement. Wisper bikes are hard to find so I had to move rather quickly. I don’t think I will regret the decision however scary!

Hi I am hoping to buy an 806 soon. Still not entirely sure whether to go for a Torque or SE. I would possibly need to replace the seat post. What size Suntour SP12 NCX would fit this bike? Also is it still the case I could use the throttle to engage cadence mode if needed?

I recently fell and had a very serious shoulder fracture which required a reverse shoulder replacement which will probably not survive another fall. My son said I should avoid small wheels at all costs because they may risk further tumbles. This may be more of a problem than no suspension.

after reading posts on the forum and discussing it with my off road mbiker son it would appear your choice may be a good one. Maybe a good suspension seat post might make things a little more comfy.
