Thanks for the info, no proprietary lock out so I will proceed with new battery as I have researched the original battery and it seems that they were rubbish anyway, thanks for the advice, the bike by the way is an b-twin from Decathlon, not a great firm to deal with

They have stopped making batteries for my e-bike can I replace it with a different one of same specs?
