Hey so my bbso1 has stopped working. I have voltage tested the cables from the battery. When I connect the battery and turn it on the hub shudders and the chainring moves slightly forward but there is no life from the control pad. Any ideas what this might be?

When I had a huh motor I never found it that relaxing. Ebikes kinda accelerate in a non bicycle way either way.

If you only want 15 mph then you will be fine with pretty much anything. The 250w hub motors are normally geared.

ok so if I open up the throttle 3 pin wire I could connect this one in. If I do it wrong am I likely to blow the controller. I assume its gonna be red to red, black to black? Also can try file out the controller to get the space for it...

If 250w hub drive isnt enough go and get a crank drive such as the bbso1. Its only 250w so is legal but can be programmed to easily get 25 mph with just using controller settings. You can also limit it to 15 mph.
